2014 Wrap Up

The end of 2014 turned out to be a very busy one and I am officially wrapping up 2014 today.
After returning from Peru I began a big search for a job (after finishing working on The Day My Butt Went Psycho) and nothing much came back from the 30 or so applications and enquiries I sent out. Thankfully I found a full time position as a designer at Millipede in Melbourne, a game app studio. I also had some freelance work doing some turnarounds for a toy line and I picked up a gig helping out a sports agency design some mascots for a football club, which will continue in 2015.

Surprisingly had some interest from Nickelodeon Jnr as a possible future designer and got my name on the books at Penguin Melbourne. Im hoping to get some freelance work for either of them sometime in the future. Call me anytime, guys!

So last night I did the final bit of freelance for this year (finished up at 4am this morning) and today is my last shift at Millipede for the year.

In 2015 I will continue to work on my book, which I have been really enjoying and I will be hoping back onto my Cartoon Network pilot project and reworking it for other funding avenues.

I wish all the best to everyone and hope all my fellow friends, animators and illustrators a prosperous 2015 and a Merry Christmas!
